ArcelorMittal secures 18-year power supply deal with EDF for nuclear electricity

Steelmaker ArcelorMittal has signed an electricity supply contract with Électricité de France (EDF), lasting 18 years, to power its industrial facilities across France. The agreement, finalised on December 26, provides for EDF to allocate a share of the output from its operating nuclear fleet. Initial deliveries began on January 1, according to both companies.
