AboitizPower reports $68M net loss in Q4 after GMEC goodwill impairment

AboitizPower Corporation released its financial results for fiscal year 2025, revealing a net loss of $68 million (PHP 3.9 billion) in the fourth quarter. This loss, after accounting for impairments, foreign exchange losses, and other non-recurring items, contrasts with the group's operational strength throughout the year. Annual EBITDA increased 9% to $1.40 billion (PHP 79.6 billion), compared to $1.29 billion (PHP 73.3 billion) in 2024.
