Qualitas Energy, a global investment and project management platform, has won the Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA) tender for a 39.9 MW project in Dalkendorf, in the Rostock district of northern Germany.
Success in this tender guarantees remuneration for electricity sales over the next 20 years, marking a crucial step in the project’s progress.
Qualitas Energy plans to start construction in spring 2025, with commissioning scheduled for mid-2026.
To achieve this goal, the company is ordering seven Nordex N149 turbines, each with a capacity of 5.7 MW.

A strategic partnership with Nordex

Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Central Region and Managing Director of Nordex Germany GmbH, says: “We are delighted to receive our first order from Qualitas Energy in June, especially as the Dalkendorf project is only a few kilometers from our production site in Rostock. We’re convinced that together we’ll be able to successfully complete another project in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.” Jorge Guzman, Head of Turbine Purchasing at Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH, adds: “The Nordex N149 turbine was the obvious choice for us because of its proven efficiency and reliability. We appreciate Nordex’s pragmatic approach, and the maintenance and supply contract reflects our collaborative negotiation process.”

Strategic expansion in Germany
