Hithium, a major player in energy storage, has formalized a strategic partnership with Samsung C&T Engineering & Construction Group, a company renowned for its international projects in engineering and construction. This agreement aims to develop a total capacity of 10 GWh in battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The alliance was formalized at Hithium’s headquarters in Xiamen, China, marking an important milestone for both companies. It will combine Hithium’s technical expertise with Samsung C&T’s capabilities in managing complex projects.

The partnership envisions a project pipeline representing a global capacity of 10 GWh, bolstering the ambitions of both companies in the expanding energy storage market. By joining forces, they aim to increase competitiveness and seize strategic opportunities in the sector.
Hithium will provide its expertise in storage solutions, while Samsung C&T will enhance project execution through its well-established engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) capabilities. This collaboration will also facilitate supply chain integration and resource sharing to meet market demands effectively.
