Eos expands its Energy Storage Capabilities

Energy storage is one of the main challenges of tomorrow, and EOS wants to be the leader with its zinc battery technology.

Eos Energy is a leading provider of energy storage for a faster transition to clean energy. Over the next three years, their storage capacity will increase to 1.1 GWh. All thanks to their new zinc battery technology. However, it will be delivered to a major solar developer as well as Bridgelink Commodities.

Bridgelink’s multi-year supply increases to 1 Gwh. This additional order value represents $181 million. However, EOS will deliver 40 MWh in the fourth half of 2022. This is equivalent to $13 million.

Their mutual trust only grows. So much so that a collaboration is beginning to take place.

This is evidenced by the statements of the CEO of Bridgelink. « We have established a strong working relationship with Eos […]. Eos’ technology gives us the flexibility to meet the growing demand profile. »

Because of this productivity, another contract was signed. A 300 MWh self-contained storage facility located in the northeastern United States. On behalf of a major solar developer, this delivery will take place over the next three years.

The technology of these zinc batteries is based on autonomous energy storage. And this, upstream or downstream of a meter, when installing different types of industrial networks. However, they are also coupled with renewable energies on the power grid.

Nevertheless, Eos is expanding rapidly as its order book continues to grow. Over the past 6 months, there has been a marked increase in their pipeline of opportunities. CEO Joe Mastrangelo points to one figure: an additional 20 Gwh. He is pleased with the commitments they have made with companies like Bridgelink and looks forward to further expansion with his collaborators.
